I closed the magazine and looked at the scrap of paper on my lap. Yes, I am no different. And so, in the spirit of list making, here is my list of things I need or want to accomplish in the next 5 days, compiled at Suburban Ford Inc of Sandy, OR.
Roughly:
-make a sleeping bag for Tischer (sew an old bag I found in the woods into 2 smaller versions)
-resize a shirt (sewing machine)
-resize a pair of pants (sewing machine)
-finish my winter love story, romantic lodging and dining stories for Mt Hood Magazine
-write an Alfresco Bum post (or two)
-finish design for free standing bouldering cave
-5 mile run in portland with T
-30+ min snowshoe run by this weekend at 75%
-skijor with T once
-ski (if the rain stops-I don't ski in rain)
-finish Reed winter camping trip logistics
-finish purpose statement for Superior Dreams
-drink 3 Hamm's
-do push ups while watching Frasier episodes

So, the five days are over. Have you accomplished everything on your list?
Well I did better than 50%. A weak showing I know, but some other more interesting and compelling things jumped into the mix in the last 5 days. For instance an all night ping pong session and some live music of friends up at Meadows. From the list:
-almost done with the sleeping bag, just need to finish hemming one edge of the opening (broken needle)
-No on the shirt
-Yes on the pants
-working on the stories right now, deadline is Thur
-No AF posts sadly
-almost done with design
-Yes to the Ptown run
-Yes to the snowshoe run (2 actually!)
-No skijoring, still haven't gotten a harness (phone tag with my supplier)
-Yes to the skiing
-No to trip logistics
-Yes to SD purpose statement
-Yes to 3 Hamm's, among others...
-Yes to push ups while I finished watching the final episode of Frasier (I just spent the last 2 months watching all 11 seasons...!)
Perhaps I need another list now...
