Along with friends Greg and Erin, I have taken a job with Adventures Sixty North in Seward, AK. I'll be guiding sea kayakers into Bear Glacier on the southern shores of the state. I am thrilled to think that come this spring I'll finally set foot on soil and paddle in waters I have long hoped to.
An adventure awaits Tischer and I as we turn the Red Ranger north from Mount Hood and I welcome it with open arms, along with a mix of uncertainty, anxiousness, and enthusiasm. Come what may, I will do my best that T and I keep living the good life, for we are both members of this planet and appreciative of its offerings. And so on the occasions that I find myself holed up in this cabin, I can think of the future and be excited or everyday ahead that will deliver us there.

Congratulations, lucas P. It's been more than a few years that you've been talking about and wanting to be an Alaskan kayak guide and I'm glad to see that it's going to happen. Plus, you're going to be the best damn guide the Gulf of Alaska has ever seen.
Congrats Lucas!
I'm glad to hear that life is handing you another adventure. And Alaska is always somewhere we have wanted to visit, so hopefully we'll find a way to get out there sometime.
