Two On The Shore

The title is for Tischer and I being back on the shore of Lake Superior and stoked for adventure from our new home in Grand Marais, Minn. We are Two on The Shore.

You can find me at Lutsen Resort as their new Director of Activities & Recreation, a role that I am extremely excited about.

This winter is shaping up to be a busy one between some freelance writing opportunities, an adventure film to work on, and a stream skiing project I've undertaken with another buddy.

Missoula sunset on her mind


This is Tischer (a.k.a. Little T, T-bag, T-bone, Tisch-Tisch) An Oregonian by birth, I adopted her on Feb 5, 2007, from a shelter in SE Portland just before she turned 3 months old. According to the shelter, she is a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix (close your eyes and imagine the look of doubt on my face).
Now just over a year and half old, I hesitate to assume she recognizes anywhere as home except for the back of the Red Ranger. A couple of seasons at the cabin on Mt Hood might suggest otherwise, but she has been on the road often and played in amazing places. I'm just glad she doesn't get car sick.
